Anchanoor’s Proud Independence Day Celebration – 15th August 2025🇮🇳

15th August 2025—A day that made every corner of Anchanoor pulse with patriotic joy. As dawn broke, the village sprang into action. Homes and streets were brightened with saffron, white, and green flags while voices old and young rose together in celebration.

 

1. Flag Hoisting at the Village Center

A crowd of villagers gathered around the main flagpole, standing side by side. The tricolor fluttered high, and as the National Anthem was sung, every heart felt the pride of being Indian. Elders, youth, and families all made this a moment to remember.

2. Honoring Mahatma Gandhi and Local Leaders

Village leaders paid tribute before a floral-draped portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. With careful hands, they hoisted the flag, embodying the respect and gratitude felt for India’s freedom fighters. The ceremony was meaningful—a reminder that we owe our liberty to centuries of sacrifice.

3. Independence Day at the Marketplace

The marketplace was a hub of festivity, with villagers gathered in front of local shops, raising the flag and offering flowers in homage. Shopkeepers, farmers, and families stood united, proving that this day brings together all walks of life.

4. Pride in Uniform
